RTL has been actively involved in mining activities for many years and has successfully managed all aspects of mining from overburden removal and infrastructure construction to total coal mine operation.
A core component of RTL's business is the construction of roads and general earthworks. Over the past ten years RTL has undertaken the construction of a number of river diversions and embankment structures. Our large workforce and extensive fleet of heavy earthmoving plant and equipment gives us the ability to quickly respond to client needs and to ensure on- time delivery.
Complementing our systems are our people. We employ dedicated people who offer a wide range of capabilities and extensive experience. Their depth of knowledge and understanding of our client's operations gives RTL the flexibility to deliver cost competitive, high quality solutions to meet the objectives of our clients.
Complementing RTL's mining and construction activities is its mobile and earthmoving plant hire capability. RTL operates a large, modern and well maintained fleet of plant and equipment including 30 and 40 tonne articulated trucks, 50 and 85 tonne rear dump trucks, 123kw through to 634kw dozers, graders and front end loaders.
RTL operates a fleet of heavy haulage prime movers and floats for the haulage of earthmoving and construction equipment as well as a range of semi trailers to meet general freight requirements. RTL also operates a modern fleet of B double side tipping trucks and trailers specifically designed for coal haulage. This fleet is regularly updated to provide clients with the benefit of safe, reliable and cost competitive service.
