Safety Management

Roche Thiess Linfox JV (RTL) seeks to achieve industry best practice in safety through implementing a safety management system, which complies with the requirements of AS 4801.

The Occupational Health and Safety Plan has been developed for the protection of all employees and establishes safety management procedures to be followed by RTL and its subcontractors. The Plan aims to put in place controls on the maintenance activities for the duration of its projects.

RTL's Policy in relation to Occupational Health and Safety states that:

• RTL is committed to providing a safe workplace for all employees and stakeholders associated with its operations
• RTL will establish measurable objectives and targets aimed at continual improvement of safety performance
• RTL will comply with all relevant OHS legislation and to the requirements of any industry group to which it or the joint venture partners may subscribe

Environmental Management

Roche Thiess Linfox JV (RTL) seeks to achieve industry best practice in meeting its environmental commitments through implementing an environmental management system, which complies with the requirements of ISO14001.

The Environmental Management Plan has been developed for the protection of the environment, and establishes environmental management procedures to be followed by RTL and its subcontractors. The Plan aims to put in place controls on the maintenance activities for the duration of its projects as they relate to the natural and social environment.

RTL's Policy in relation to Environmental issues states that:

• RTL is committed to sustainable development and prevention of avoidable pollution
• RTL will establish measurable objectives and targets aimed at continual improvement of its environmental management performance
• RTL will comply with all relevant environmental legislation and to the requirements of any industry group to which it or the joint venture partners may subscribe
